My Top 11 Favorite BTS songs - so far

I'll admit...this was NOT an easy task. When I posted on Twitter that I was attempting to narrow down my favorite BTS songs, a few of my followers scoffed at me. No way they'd be able to do a top 10 at all (or 11, in my case). I understand, believe, I do! But also, I am a new Army! I hate to admit this, but some of the songs I haven't heard as much as others. And perhaps I haven't heard every single song yet? I've been going back and listening to the early stuff (No More Dream, the first BTS single, seriously still Slaps!).

There are several of their songs that I listen to daily. I have many different BTS playlists but the one I listen to the most while driving around Los Angeles has 114 songs! So how did I narrow it down to 11? Well some of these songs cheer me up, give me the feels or are just musically or lyrically amazing! Here they are (in no particular order):

1. Singularity

This is a given. If you follow me on Twitter, you know I yell quite often "Steam Singularity!". Taehyung is my bias because his voice amazes me. And...mullet!

2. Best of Me

Everything about this song makes me happy! The vocals, the music, the choreography I JUST found out about! It cheers me up when I'm down. Plus, it's fun to sing along to!

3. Tomorrow

I listened to rock music mostly all of my life. I grew up on rock, grunge, metal, you name it. The guitar part towards the end of this song is exhilarating! It's one of my new favorite older songs, truly. Also, the choreography is an emotional experience for me.

4. Baepsae/ Silver Spoon

I just recently heard this song and loved it instantly. And the choreography deserves ALL of the awards. I love BTS in part because of their incredible dance moves.

5. Save Me

This used to be my ultimate favorite song until I heard more of their songs. It's still in my top faves though as I can't get over how beautiful this song is.

6. I'm Fine

This one holds special significance to me. "Idol" was my first comeback with BTS & ARMY and I made sure to watch live streams of their performances on the music shows they were on in Korea. "I'm Fine"'s live performance honestly made me love these boys more. Tae's intro vocals, the formation on the floor holding him up, Hobi's rap that I can't not rap along to, Yoongi's fast rapping, Namjoon's voice, Jimin's voice, Jungkook's voice, okay, you get the picture.

7. Crystal Snow

This is another song I just discovered recently. It's on the Japanese album "Face Yourself" and this is another song that really showcases Taehyung's deep sultry vocals. The first time I heard it, I felt tears in my eyes. I also listen to this one on a near daily basis.

8. Run

This is my husband's favorite BTS song. Run also has my favorite BTS video. I've never gotten sick of watching this video. The part where they're in the tunnel, yelling and creating havoc? That's my favorite part! BTS as bad boys is a concept I really like for some reason.

9. Fake Love

Fake Love made me an Army! It was catchy but not to a point of annoyance, which is perfect. And the video?! Tae's. Mullet.

10. Go Go

It's such a fun, happy song that can pep you up on a sad day. I guess to me that's almost any BTS song? I don't know. Their voices send me to a far-off fantasy land full of unicorns and rainbows. But also, the Go Go performance where Tae does "that face". Makes me laugh. Every. Single. Time!

11. Begin

It was hard choosing between Begin and Euphoria. Honestly, I listen to both songs a lot. But the lyrics to Begin make me feel emotionally connected to it. Thank God for translations and lyric videos. Jungkook is my bias wrecked because on a regular basis he shows me how adorable and amazingly talented he is.
