Hello lovelies,
Listen today is the day my life was blessed and my skin started glowing. When I say I started crying at work I’m not lying. Today should be a national holiday, worldwide cause right now I can not function and my patients might think I’m not sane enough to take care of them. Honestly I think I may not be.
Scenery comes six days after the love of my life (Taehyung) teased us with a video of him in the process of making his song and even that did not prepare me for what came today. Scenery starts slow, the bells, breathing, sounds of someone walking in the snow, the piano in the background already making hearts beat fast with anticipation of what Taehyung’s beautiful voice will sound like and what the lyrics will be and then his mesmerizing voice starts singing ‘kkoccdeuri gadeukhan georie oneuldo geudaereul boneyo’ which translates to (may not be too precise) ‘in the streets full of flowers, I see you today...’
With those words my eyes started leaking. I can not even explain why those words mean so much to me but it honestly does.
Taehyung has a way with words, a way in which he captivates and mesmerize his listeners and fans and that is something not every artist can do. Taehyung is genuinely an amazing artist and god am I thankful he’s a ‘95 baby like myself and I was blessed to be born in the same generation as this blessing that is Kim Taehyung.
Taehyung’s voice is really unique, he can sing within 3 octaves, 5 notes and 1 semitone and his vocal type is baritone which means he can sing between tenor and bass. Hence his deep, sultry voice we all love and appreciate, that can cure any bad day.
The fact that Taehyung not only wrote the lyrics of this masterpiece but he also composed the song and took the photo for the cover is amazing and I really hope he will be recognized for the talent that he is. Taehyung paid attention to every little detail to make this song special for us- army. He recorded the sound of his camera clicking, of his feet walking in the snow, and of his breathing. He really is a genius.
I can not stress the fact that I am beyond proud of Taehyung, he truly deserves the world. He placed so much emotion into not only this song but to all his songs and I can not wait for all his future songs and projects. Before I go, I’ll leave you with some of the lyrics because this masterpiece must be known...(English words)
